Police investigate man found with gunshot wounds off Texas 360 in east Arlington

Arlington police are investigating a shooting after finding a man Wednesday evening with gunshot wounds in a parking lot off State Highway 360.

Authorities are investigating the shooting of a man who was found Wednesday evening near a shopping center off Texas 360, according to Arlington police.

At around 8:50 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of a shopping center off 360, near the intersection of East Arkansas Lane and South Watson Road, after receiving a report from a 911 caller that their friend had been shot.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to a local hospital.

His condition is unknown, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened in the 3400 block of Parham Drive in Grand Prairie and was driven by his friend to the shopping center parking lot.

Grand Prairie police are leading the investigation.
