Law enforcement authorities on Wednesday morning were at a south Fort Worth apartment where a man walked or ran after he shot a woman in the forearm, police said.

The woman was shot about 3:45 a.m. in a parking lot in the 900 block of East Harvey Avenue.

Two people were taken into custody, a Fort Worth Police Department spokesperson said about 8:30 a.m.

SWAT Unit officers were at the scene.

The victim was taken to a hospital for the treatment of an injury that police said is not life-threatening.
