A woman is charged in a stabbing that killed a 33-year-old man Saturday at an apartment in Crowley, according to police.

A North Texas woman is facing a murder charge in a stabbing that killed a man Saturday, according to Crowley police.

At around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a 911 call about a stabbing at the Landmark at Crowley apartments, located at 305 West FM 1187.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

Officers arrested the suspect, 34-year-old Lauren Goar, at the scene, police said in a news release.

The victim was in a relationship with the suspect and was stabbed inside the couple’s apartment in a domestic violence assault in which Goar was the aggressor, according to a police report and arrest warrant affidavit.

Goar was booked into the Tarrant County Jail on charges of murder and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. The tampering charge is because she is accused of trying to clean up blood at the scene, the affidavit states.

Her bond is set at $110,000. An attorney for Goar was not listed in court records Tuesday.
