Man shot, injured during argument in north Fort Worth on Saturday, police say

A man was shot and injured in north Fort Worth on Saturday morning after an argument with another man, police said.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Ellis Avenue, in the Marine Park neighborhood, around 10:50 a.m. regarding a shooting. They found a man who had been shot in the chest and leg, police said.

The victim claimed a man tried to hit him with a car in the parking lot, and the two started arguing, police said. The suspect then shot the victim.

The injured man was taken to a local hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar. The suspect is still at large, police said.

Detectives from the Gun Violence Unit have been notified about the shooting.
