Well-known TikTok creator charged with shooting his girlfriend in Flower Mound: police
A well-known TikTok creator has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting of his girlfriend early Friday in Flower Mound, police said.
Ladarius M. Brownlee, 28, of Northlake, is accused of shooting a 28-year-old woman.
The victim, Seyedeh “Zahra” Hashemi, is Brownlee’s girlfriend, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by WFAA-TV.
Brownlee makes videos on TikTok under the names denoandzahra and denotatted and has more than 100,000 followers on social media. Hashemi also was involved in making the videos, which chronicled the couple’s life together.
Police received a call around 12:50 a.m. Friday about a shooting in the 1800 block of Flower Mound Road, according to a news release. There, officers found the victim lying on the ground outside a stationary vehicle in westbound traffic lanes.
According to the affidavit, Browlee is accused of shooting her in the head after they argued while they were headed home from a Fourth of July fireworks show.
Hashemi was taken to Baylor Grapevine Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Brownlee was still on scene when officers arrived and has been arrested on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to police. Other charges are pending.
