Joshua Arias Rosales, 22, was booked into the Fort Worth City Jail on Monday, according to police records. He faces a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon causing brain injury or paralysis.
The 23-year-old victim was found wounded and lying on the ground in the entertainment district near the intersection of Currie and Bledsoe streets March 17 shortly after 12:20 a.m., according to the police report.
Police said in an April 9 social media post that the victim and five unidentified suspects were involved in an argument and a physical fight before the shooting. According to police, Rosales is the suspected shooter.
Police were trying to identify four other suspects, including a woman in a black shirt and a man in a yellow shirt who were involved in the fight, according to the post. A woman in a gray Buc-ee’s shirt and a man in a gray hoodie are also believed to have been with the group and were onlookers during the fight, police said.
