Suspect in custody, another at large in Fort Worth shooting that injured innocent bystander

A suspect is in custody after a bystander was hit by gunfire Friday afternoon in Fort Worth, police said.

At around 4:20 p.m., Fort Worth police responded to the 3100 block of Northwest 33rd Street regarding a man who had been shot.

Officers determined that two people had started shooting at each other and an innocent bystander was hit by one of the bullets.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

One suspect was apprehended; police were searching for the other person Friday evening.

Police have not released the identity of the person who was arrested.
