Man charged with murder in North Richland Hills shooting that killed 25-year-old: police

A 25-year-old man faces a murder charge after another man was killed in a shooting on Friday, North Richland Hills police said in a news release.

The shooting was reported around 2:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Buenos Aires Drive. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested Michael J. Williams, according to police.

The victim was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as 25-year-old Mason Brooks Master.

Investigators were at the scene to process evidence. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation, but there is no threat to the community, police said.

Williams is currently in custody at the Tarrant County Jail with bond set at $200,000.
