1 person seriously injured in north Fort Worth shooting; suspect at large, police say

A person was seriously injured in a shooting in Fort Worth Tuesday evening, according to Fort Worth police. No arrests have been made.

At around 8 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Grand Rapids Drive, just south of Heritage Trace Parkway and west of Interstate 35W, in response to a call about a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim with two gunshot wounds, police said. The victim was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is still outstanding, according to police. Gun violence detectives have been notified.

Police did not release the identity of the victim.
