Man dies after being run over by hit-and-run driver in southeast Tarrant County
A man was killed in a hit-and-run in southeast Tarrant County on Saturday, and the sheriff’s office is trying to identify the vehicle and driver.
Sheriff’s deputies were called shortly before 5 a.m. to the 5300 block of Rendon Road. They found a man lying in the middle of the street who had been run over by a vehicle, according to a news release.
The vehicle that hit the man did not stay at the scene of the crash.
The victim was pronounced dead by paramedics. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man.
