A 28-year-old man was on Sunday shot to death during a fight inside a Fort Worth hookah bar and game room, authorities said.

Semaj Lewis died of a gunshot wound of the torso, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Lewis and another person were shot about 2:45 a.m. in the 4700 block of East Lancaster Avenue, according to Fort Worth police.

Officers detained at the scene a suspect whom police records identify as 20-year-old Kenderrick White. He was arrested on suspicion of murder.

White and Lewis were involved in a fight before White pulled a gun and shot Lewis, authorities said. It is unclear if the second victim, who was taken to a hospital, was targeted.
