One person shot in suspected Fort Worth road rage Sunday; victim taken to hospital

One person was shot Sunday evening in Fort Worth in what authorities suspect was a case of road rage, according to police.

Officers responded to the area of Sycamore School Road and Hemphill Street around 5:30 p.m. to find one victim with two gunshot wounds to the back, according to police. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police have not released the identities of any suspects or announced any arrests.

The shooting is being investigated by gun violence detectives.
