Teen dies in Dallas shooting on Thursday, police say, second victim in stable condition

One person died and another person was injured in a shooting in Dallas early Thursday morning, the Dallas Police Department announced in a news release.

At around 3:20 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a call about a shooting in the 4400 block of Lemmon Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found two men shot, according to the release.

Both men were taken to a hospital where one of the victims, identified by police as 18-year-old Kevin Jaramillo, died.

The other victim is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and the case will be referred to a grand jury, police said in the release.
