Two people were shot outside a gas station in west Fort Worth on Tuesday night, leaving one in serious condition and the other in stable condition, according to police.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 8200 block of Calmont Drive around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday to find the two victims and no suspect, according to a police spokesperson. The officers placed tourniquets on both victims before medical personnel arrived and took them to a hospital.

Police said the shooter or shooters, who have not been identified, fled the scene on foot and have not been located. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.

Investigators recovered a firearm from the scene along with multiple shell casings.
