Amber Alert discontinued for missing 2-year-old Beaumont, Texas boy; suspect arrested

An Amber Alert was canceled Thursday for a 2-year-old Beaumont boy who had disappeared Wednesday morning.

“Braylon (Harris) has been located and is safe,” the Beaumont Police Department posted on social media around 9:30 a.m.

Georgianna Randall, 29, was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and booked into the Jefferson County Jail, officials said in an updated social media post around 2 p.m. Charges are pending against another person in connection with the incident.

Braylon had been last seen in the 1900 block of College Street in Beaumont around 11 a.m., according to the alert, and authorities believed Braylon was in grave or immediate danger.

Randall was the last person seen with Braylon when he went missing, police said.

Beaumont is located in Jefferson County, about 85 miles east of Houston.
