2 people injured in shooting, stabbing at a southwest Fort Worth club, police say
Two people were injured in separate, gang-related incidents at a southwest Fort Worth club Thursday night, police said.
Officers were dispatched to a club in the 6300 block of Hulen Bend Boulevard shortly after 11:30 p.m. regarding a shooting, officials said. Several witnesses told police someone had been shot, but the officers couldn’t locate the victim.
Around the same time, a man arrived at a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, police said. He told officers he had been shot during a fight at the club. A cutting victim also arrived at the same hospital and also claimed to have been stabbed at the club.
Officials believe there were two separate altercations and both were gang related, police said. No suspects have been arrested.
Both victims received non-life-threatening injuries, according to police, and the Gang Unit will investigate the incidents.
