Man fatally shot in south Dallas homicide, police say
A man was fatally shot in the Cedar Crest area of Dallas on Tuesday night, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of E. Illinois Avenue around 11:20 p.m. regarding a shooting. They found a man with a gunshot wound, officials said.
The victim later died at a local hospital. The man’s identity is unknown, according to police.
No arrests have been announced in the homicide.
