15-year-old girl last seen outside Paris, Texas has been found safe; Amber Alert canceled

An Amber Alert issued Monday morning for 15-year-old Erika Anderson has been discontinued after she was found safe Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The Red River County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that Anderson was awaiting her family’s arrival.

The teen had last been seen in Brookson, Texas, just outside Paris before the alert was issued.

Police believed she might have been in Watauga, according to the alert.

Anderson was believed to be with 22-year-old suspect Jonathan Ramirez.
