Two people were fatally shot in a north Fort Worth house Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Lulu Street around 11:30 p.m. regarding a shooting. They found two male victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals in critical condition and later died from their injuries, officials said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Jesus Rodriguez, 19, of Fort Worth, as one of the victims. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities haven’t publicly identified the second victim in the double homicide, but police at the scene told Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV that one of the men was in his late teens and the other was 20 years old.

The shooter fled the scene, and there are no suspects in custody. Homicide detectives are interviewing witnesses and investigating the motive for the shooting, police said.
