19-year-old man found dead Tuesday with multiple gunshot wounds, Fort Worth police say

A 19-year-old man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

Police went about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday to the intersection of the 4500 block of Wiman Drive and the 3700 block of South Edgewood Terrace in response to a caller reporting a deceased man who was shot.

According to a police report, the man, identified as Lawrence James Holloway, was found not breathing and bleeding on the ground.

MedStar also responded to the scene.

Holloway was face down and had multiple injuries when he was located, according to the police report. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He died due to multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Fort Worth Homicide Unit is investigating the case. No arrests have been made.
