Police search for armed suspect who robbed west Fort Worth bank on Thursday

Fort Worth police are searching for a man who robbed a PlainsCapital Bank on Thursday afternoon.

Police received a call just before 4 p.m. about a robbery in the 6000 block of Western Place, in west Fort Worth.

According to a police call log, a 911 caller reported a man wearing a black jacket came in with a gun.

Police said he demanded money and left on foot. No one was injured.

It is unknown how much money was stolen.

Officers searched the area but the suspect was not located.
