Suspect arrested on murder suspicion in Crowley apartment stabbing death, police say
A man stabbed another man to death early Tuesday at the apartment building where both lived in Crowley, according to authorities.
Brian Calvery, 39, died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth about an hour after he was stabbed in the chest, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Calvery was stabbed about 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Magnolia Street, according to the Crowley Police Department.
William Lawrence, 38, was taken into custody at the scene and booked on suspicion of murder, according to a Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office record.
Police did not describe a motive or the killing’s other circumstances.
