Police on Thursday arrested a man in connection with a shooting three days earlier at a southeast Fort Worth convenience store in which two people died.

Aundra Taylor, 18, was booked on suspicion of aggravated assault in the case, according to a Fort Worth jail record. It is unclear whether he faces other charges.

Marques Parker, 18, and Michael Sansom Jr., 29, were both shot in the head. Parker died at the store. Sansom died at a hospital on Wednesday.

Parker and Sansom are the eighth and ninth people who have been shot at the store, Joe’s Food Mart, in the 4200 block of Miller Avenue, since January 2020.

Beyond reporting that the killings occurred during a disagreement about 2 a.m. between a suspect and Parker, Fort Worth police did not describe other circumstances.

The shooter left the store in a vehicle with two other people, police said.
