Two men shot in vehicle during northwest Fort Worth gaming console sale, authorities say
Two men were shot on Wednesday during a gaming console transaction in northwest Fort Worth, authorities said.
The victims were inside a vehicle when they were shot about 12:45 p.m. near the 5700 block of Barrier Reef Drive. They were taken to hospitals. One of the men was shot in the upper body and was in critical condition and stable, authorities said. The second man suffered a graze wound to the ear.
A suspect was not in custody in the hours after the shooting, Fort Worth police said.
Police officers in a helicopter were among those at the scene.
