After fire extinguished, two people with gunshot wounds found inside Arlington house

Two people who had suffered gunshot wounds were found on Thursday inside a house in Arlington where a fire erupted, police said.

One of the people died at the house in the 600 block of East Lynn Creek Drive and the other died at a hospital. Arlington police said that they were female, but did not say whether they are adults or juveniles.

The fire erupted at the house after police were alerted about 5:15 p.m. to a possibly suicidal person, police said.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and found both people during a search. Police did not describe their relationship.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office had not released the cause and manner of the deaths.
