A man accused of robbing a bank was arrested Friday just minutes after the holdup in southwest Fort Worth, authorities said.

He was taken into custody without incident.

The robbery was reported just before 11:30 a.m at PNC Bank, 5950 Bryant Irvin Road.

A man entered the bank, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, Fort Worth police said.

Fort Worth police officers found the suspect nearby, police.

The name of the suspect had not been released.

Robbery detectives are investigating the case.
