Two minors charged in threats made against Euless Junior High School on Monday
Two minors face charges after they made threats against a school in Euless on Monday, according to police.
Police said Thursday that the minors made threats against Euless Junior High School on Monday.
During their investigation, police determined the threats made through social media were a hoax. They identified the two juvenile suspects with the help of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford school district, according to a news release.
The department said it takes all threats seriously and hopes this will encourage parents to closely monitor their children’s social media use to prevent similar incidents and charges.
Separately, Euless police were searching for a man who threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend’s children, who are students at a local elementary school. Extra officers were stationed at Oakwood Terrace Elementary as a precaution.
