Fort Worth police asked for help on Tuesday to identify and locate a man who robbed a Subway on Camp Bowie Boulevard and then assaulted an employee on Aug. 31.

Detectives released photographs of the suspect involved in the holdup, hoping that someone would recognize him and call police. The photographs were from surveillance cameras in the business.

The robbery and assault occurred about noon on Aug. 31 at the Subway, 9082 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth.

The suspect entered the restaurant and sat at a table for several minutes, Fort Worth police said. He saw an employee walk past him carrying a bag of money and exit the business.

As the employee with the bag of money was returning and opening the door, the suspect blocked the way and stole the cash. The suspect then fled the business.

Another employee chased and caught up to the suspect at a nearby apartment complex, Fort Worth police said. The suspect attacked the employee, punching and kicking him.

The suspect ran away from the scene.

Anyone with information should call Fort Worth police at 817-392-4469.
