In argument over parking space, one man shot to death, another wounded in Fort Worth

A 41-year-old man was shot to death and another man was wounded on Sunday during an argument with another person over a parking space at a business in east Fort Worth, authorities said.

Fort Worth police did not announce an arrest.

The victims were shot about 11:15 a.m. near East Rosedale Street and East Loop 820, police said. Juan Padron Jr. was pronounced dead about 7 p.m. Sunday at a hospital, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The other victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition with an injury that is not life-threatening, a MedStar spokesperson said.

The shooting was reported from the 5500 block of MacArthur Drive.
