Amber Alert canceled: 12-year-old girl from Corinth found safe in Carrollton
An Amber Alert has been canceled after 12-year-old Angie Carrasco was found safe in Carrollton.
Police issued an Amber Alert saying Carrasco was last seen in Corinth, in Denton County, around 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Authorities believed she was abducted and in grave or immediate danger.
Police in Corinth said around 6 p.m. Saturday that she’d been found safe but that the investigation into her possible abduction was ongoing.
Police believe Carrasco was taken by an unknown person in a silver, newer model Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
