Fort Worth shooting near restaurant sends one to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds

A man was shot multiple times Thursday night in the 4300 block of East Berry Street in Fort Worth and taken to a hospital, according to a police spokesman.

Police said they received a call about the shooting around 9:10 p.m. It was reported near Williams Fried Chicken at 4313 E. Berry.

The details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation, according to police, and no arrests have been announced.

A police incident report lists the victim as a 36-year-old man.

The shooting came later the same day that a 19-year-old man showed up at a Fort Worth hospital with a gunshot wound police believe he got at Cobb Park and, later, three people were shot at a business on South Riverside Drive, less than a mile away from the Cobb Park shooting.
