3 injured after fight involving an ax Friday night, Richardson police say
Three people were injured Friday night after an ax was brought into a fight, Richardson police said.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. near the 500 block of West Campbell Road. Police said they were dispatched to the scene after a report that several people were fighting and one individual had a weapon.
Upon arrival, officers found three people injured, including the person with the ax.
Two of those injured were taken to a nearby hospital and the third was treated at the scene.
“Preliminary information indicates all the subjects know each other, and officers are not seeking additional subjects,” the police department said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
