Teen shot, killed in northwest Fort Worth neighborhood on Friday afternoon
A teenager in Fort Worth died after he was shot in the upper body Friday afternoon, according to police.
Fort Worth police said the “male in his late teens” died at the scene and the suspect or suspects fled.
The shooting happened sometime around 4:15 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Central Avenue, according to police.
No arrests were announced and police did not say whether they had identified any suspects.
