Two men died after a shooting Friday night in Arlington.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. near the 2100 block of Cypress Club Drive. Officers responded to the apartment complex after a report that two people were unresponsive in the parking lot.

“The caller indicated they’d heard what they believed to be gunshots roughly 10 minutes prior to finding the victims,” police said. “When officers arrived on scene, they located a 31-year-old male and a 21-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced deceased at the scene.”

The men have not been identified by the medical examiner’s office as of early Saturday morning.

Police said they do not believe either victim lived at the apartment complex, and they’re unsure why the men were at the location.

“A vehicle belonging to one of the victims was found in the parking lot and seized as evidence,” police said.

Investigators are still searching the area for witnesses and video of the incident. The investigation remains ongoing. There is no suspect in custody.

Anyone with information should call Det. Julia Hall at 817-459-5325.
