Individual shot in foot in Fort Worth shooting Friday evening
A Fort Worth shooting Friday evening left one person injured.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the 5000 block of E. Lancaster Ave. East Division officers responded to the scene on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. They said the injury was not life-threatening and it’s unknown what led up to the shooting.
“[The] victim gave conflicting details,” police said. “Suspect(s) are still at large.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
