One person dead after collision on NE Loop 820 near Beach Street, Fort Worth police say

One person has been confirmed dead from a collision that happened Wednesday evening in the 3860 block of Northeast Loop 820 near Beach Street, Fort Worth police said.
A MedStar representative said one person was dead at the scene when officials arrived after the call came in at 7:01 p.m.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who died as Barry Bostick, 62, of Carrollton.
A blue Chevrolet Equinox collided with a gold Ford pickup truck along the freeway, according to the department’s incident report. Authorities said one of the vehicles collided with the other that was stalled.
Police are investigating the collision and the traffic investigation unit has been notified.
