Hit-and-run at Roanoke intersection leaves Fort Worth woman in critical condition
A Fort Worth woman is in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident in Roanoke on Wednesday, and police seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the woman was walking from Parish Lane to Henrietta Creek Road across U.S. Highway 377. A white or light colored car was traveling southbound and struck the woman, according to a Roanoke Police Department press release.
She was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. The driver is believed to have continued southbound along the highway.
Roanoke police are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their security cameras for a fast moving white or light-colored car with damage on the right front side of the vehicle and a possible broken headlight.
