One man killed, another injured in shooting, Arlington police say 

One man was killed and another injured in Arlington after a shooting Monday evening, police said.

Arlington officers responded to the 1700 block of Trinity Height Drive at 5:24 p.m. Monday, according to a press release from Arlington police. Police found a man with minor injuries and recovered two guns. The man with minor injuries was detained pending further investigation, and police had not ruled out the possibility that there was another person involved.

While at the scene, police were notified that a second man had been dropped off at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner had not released his identity as of Monday night.

“This is a dynamic scene that is still being processed to determine motive and exactly what happened,” Arlington police said in the press release. “Detectives remain on scene interviewing residents and witnesses.”
