Woman with wrench accused of damaging Fort Worth-area public safety building
A search continued Monday for a woman who police say smashed the front door of the Mansfield Public Safety building with a big wrench.
After shattering the glass door, the woman calmly walked back to her car and drove away Saturday morning, video released by police shows.
A surveillance camera captured the incident.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mansfield Public Safety building, 1305 E. Broad St. in Mansfield.
The video showed a woman get out of a car, retrieve the wrench and walk up to the front door. She used the wrench to smash the door, shattering it.
The woman walked back to her car, but she stopped to shake out one shoe as it appeared pieces of glass had gotten into her footwear.
She returned to her white Volkswagen, placed the wrench in the backseat and then drove off.
No injuries were reported.
