Police arrest 2 suspects they allege were gunmen in shooting at crowded Fort Worth park

Police have arrested two men they allege fired guns in a crowd at a southeast Fort Worth park and a third suspect accused of making a threat in connection with the fusillade 10 days ago in which five people were shot.

Dcameron McKellar, 21, and Kristopher Robinzine, 26, were booked into jail on suspicion of aggravated assault – deadly weapon. McKellar was arrested Monday, and Robinzine was arrested Tuesday.

A third suspect in the park shooting, Kieston Allen, 20, was arrested on suspicion of making a terroristic threat.

McKellar and Robinzine fired on the victims, who survived, at Village Creek Park on May 10, police alleged. Abut 400 people were gathered when the shooting occurred, despite police efforts to disperse the crowd due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions.

The Fort Worth police gang unit’s investigation to determine if other assailants were involved is incomplete.
