Police probe death of 3-year-old Fort Worth girl driven to hospital in private vehicle
A 3-year-old girl died Saturday in a Fort Worth hospital emergency room after she was driven there in a private vehicle, authorities said.
Eriykah Taylor died about 2 p.m. at Cook Children’s Medical Center, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The cause and manner of the little girl’s death were not released Saturday. She had bruises on her body, according to a Fort Worth police call sheet.
Crimes Against Children Unit detectives and the Texas Child Protective Services agency were investigating the death, according to Sgt. Ismael Espinoza. No further information was available.
Eriykah lived in Fort Worth.
