TCU student accused of touching 4-year-old girl’s privates, recording her in shower
A 19-year-old woman who is enrolled as a student at Texas Christian University is facing a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Elodie Tiare Boccara, of Dallas, was arrested on Feb. 20 and released the following day following the issuance of a probable cause arrest warrant alleging aggravated sexual assault of a child, according to records filed with the Tarrant County District Clerk’s Office.
Bond was set at $25,000, jail records showed. The offense date listed for the alleged sexual assault is June 1, 2019, court records show.
Child Protective Services submitted a referral alleging sexual abuse of the victim to the Fort Worth Police Department saying that Boccara allegedly assaulted a 4-year-old girl, touching her private parts repeatedly with her hands, according to police.
In September, Boccara met with an investigator from the Crimes Against Children Unit for an interview, police said. During the course of the interview Boccara denied all allegations of any sexual contact with the victim.
Boccara admitted to speaking sexually to the victim and admitted to recording the victim in the shower, according to police. Police said they do not believe any of the victim’s siblings were sexually abused by the suspect.
Police said they do not know if there are other children the suspect may have had contact with who might have been victimized.
The attorney representing Boccara, Jeff Kearney, did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
Boccara is listed as a 2018 graduate of Ursuline Academy in Dallas, according to the school’s online records.
