Pedestrian killed on service road identified as 66-year-old Fort Worth man

A man outside a vehicle died Tuesday when he was accidentally struck by another vehicle on an Interstate 35 service road in north Fort Worth.

The victim was identified as Salvador Palafox, 66, of Fort Worth, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website on Wednesday.

Police reported that he was hit about 3 p.m.

The man was declared dead on the northbound service road near Los Osos Drive, just south of Basswood Boulevard.

Police did not release a description of the vehicle that struck the victim.
