Man in critical condition after shooting at Fort Worth home, police say

A man was in critical condition Thursday morning after he was shot at a Fort Worth residence, according to police.

The man was taken to a local hospital.

The shooting was reported just after 9 a.m. at a home in the 1900 block of NE 36th St.

When they arrived, police found a man in a yard with an apparent gunshot wound.

More than 10 patrol units responded to the scene.

Police have not released any other details on the shooting. No description of a suspect was available, and the motive remains under investigation.
