A man drove himself to an Arlington hospital with a gunshot wound after he got into a confrontation with a security officer at a bar in Fort Worth, according to police.

The man told investigators that he was at Cabaret East, at 12325 Calloway Cemetery Road, when he got into a fight with security, Fort Worth Police Officer Tracy Carter said.

Fort Worth police sent four officers to the shooting scene, according to records.

As the man drove off, the security guard fired a shot at the car and hit the driver in his shoulder, Carter said.

The injured man drove himself to Arlington Memorial Hospital and arrived at around 2:30 a.m. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing, Carter said.
