Man hit in face by stray bullet in east Fort Worth, police say
A man was hit in the face by a stray bullet Thursday afternoon in front of a store in east Fort Worth, police said.
At 4:48 p.m., police went to 3540 Miller Ave. in response to a shooting call.
Two men were shooting at one another outside Ocean Food Mart when an uninvolved bystander passing in a car was hit in the face by a stray bullet.
The suspects fled and had not been arrested as of Thursday evening.
The man was taken to the hospital and was in stable condition, police said.
At 5:50 p.m., about eight police cars were outside the food mart. A crowd of people stood at the Dollar General next door.
