3 men, including registered sex offender, charged in Tarrant County trafficking sting

Three men were arrested recently during a sex trafficking sting operation conducted by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.

The operation focused on people who communicate with children online with the intent to meet them to engage in sexual intercourse and communicate with the child in a sexually explicit manner, a news release from the sheriff’s office said.

“The individuals who are online committing these acts drive the demand for child sex trafficking and sometimes are traffickers looking to exploit their next victim,” the release said.

Dusty Weldon Cloud, Adam Gregory Morin and Julio Cesar Rodriguez-Mendoza were all arrested and charged with online solicitation of a minor.

Cloud is a lifetime registered sex offender who is on probation. His risk level is considered high and he lives in Maypearl, according to the registry.

Rodriguez-Mendoza was also charged with possession of child pornography.
