Second teen arrested in fatal January shooting at Fort Worth park
A second teenager was arrested in the homicide of a man who was found dead in east Fort Worth, according to jail records.
Daevon Roberts, 19, was charged with capital murder in the Jan. 12 robbery and killing of Christopher Reyes, 30, of Justin. His bond has been set at $750,000.
Jylilla Cornelius Redwine, 17, was arrested in January in the case.
Reyes died from gunshot wounds to his head, spine and chest, according to a ruling by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office. He was found dead in a grassy area of Titus Paulsel Park, 2000 Binkley St.
Police said that the shooting occurred during a robbery. They provided no other details.
