One dead, two seriously injured after suspect shoots up car in Dallas

One person was killed and two others seriously injured during a shooting in Dallas on Friday. All three were under age 20.

At about 4:30 p.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting call in the 7800 block of Lancaster Road. When they arrived, they discovered the actual shooting had occurred nearby in the 2700 block of Palo Alto Drive.

According to police, three people were in a parked car when a man approached and started shooting into the car, hitting all three men.

One of the men was killed, another was in critical condition and a third was in surgery Friday night.

The suspect fled after the shooting and had not been arrested as of Friday night, police said.
