5 towns, 5 hold-ups — trio charged in armed robbery spree in DFW
Three people were charged with holding up three restaurants and two gas stations near Fort Worth over the course of three days.
Quinton Ahmad Tomlinson, Adorian Rashad Robinson and Quinnterrion Djese Courrtez Martin were charged on Oct. 29 with three counts of armed robbery. The charging documents were unsealed on Friday.
According to the charges, the three of them and a fourth person robbed four places and attempted to rob a fifth between July 25 and July 28.
On July 25, Martin, Tomlinson, Robinson met up with Lamonica Sheree Hall and planned the robberies, according to charges. The four of them took Hall’s grandfather’s white Oldsmobile to commit the robberies.
At 2:03 a.m., the four drove to Domino’s pizza in Arlington. Tomlinson and Robinson, wearing hooded, long sleeve shirts, threatened an employee at gunpoint and demanded access to the safe. The employee did not have access to the safe and the group left, according to charges.
At 3:21 a.m., the group went to a 7-Eleven gas station in Hurst. Again, Tomlinson and Robinson held up the gas station at gunpoint, charges state. The group fled after taking money and tobacco products.
About an hour later, they went to another 7-Eleven in Colleyville and repeated the process, police say.
The next day, Martin, Tomlinson, Robinson and an unidentified suspect held up a Waffle house in Fort Worth, according to police.
On July 28, Martin, Tomlinson, Robinson and Hall robbed a McDonald’s in Grapevine at gunpoint and made off with $1,785, according to charges.
Tomlinson, Martin and Robinson were charged with robbing the 4 chains and attempting to rob Domino’s pizza. Hall was charged on Oct. 1 with armed robbery but was not charged in connection to the alleged Waffle House robbery.
